Confirm Junior division(Required) UMECRA's Junior definition varies by event.
For LD and Endurance, Juniors are those who are 15 or younger as of the first day of the new ride year (December 1). Riders who turn 16 during the ride season are still Juniors for the duration of the ride season.
Also, for LD/Endurance, riders who are 14 or 15 as of December 1 and have petitioned to ride unsponsored compete as Seniors. Lastly, riders who are in the AERC's Young Rider division are considered Seniors for UMECRA.
For example, a rider who is 15 on or before Dec 1, 2023 meets the Junior requirement for riding as a Junior for rides held in 2024. If this 15 year old petitions to ride unsponsored, they must compete as a Senior. A rider who is 16 on or after Dec 1, 2023, will compete as a Senior in their declared weight division.
For CTR, Juniors are those who are 17 or younger as of the first day of the new ride year (December 1). Also, riders who are between 14 and 18 on or before December 1 and have petition to ride unsponsored, compete as Seniors.

I agree to abide by the rules of the ride and UMECRA, which incorporates the rules at AERC for endurance riding, and am familiar with those rules.
