There is only one common entry point for the horse camp which is on the west side of the park. Use Filmore County 5 South to County 118. Do not attempt to enter the park from any other road.

Hot showers are located in the people camp, a short drive away.

Reservations can be made at 120 days in advance. Phone 1-866-857-2757 or There is an additional fee for each campsite reserved. If no reservations are available you can wait until closer to ride date – there always seems to be cancellations — or stay at the nearby Maple Springs Campground adjacent to the park. (You will have to haul in.)

Horse Containment Information

Pens must be contained within the high-line area only. Do not use pen on the side of your trailer. Only tie horse to the trailer to saddle and unsaddle.

Trail Description

The park has 18 miles of limestone trail. Shoes or boots highly recommended. Terrain consists of hills threading through hardwood forests with 7 water crossings.
