Ride Camp Directions

Signs to ride camp will be posted on ND Hwy 46 (approximately 7.5 miles north of camp) and on ND Hwy 18 (approximately 7 miles east of camp). Those are the best routes into camp. Other routes are available, but they will not be marked and would have more gravel roads to drive. Directions using Google Maps have been found to be accurate.

Trail Description

Trails will include single track cow paths, as well as portions of the groomed North Country National Scenic Trail. Footing is largely sandy soil and dirt, with occasional gravel sections. Relatively flat terrain with small, rolling hills. Cattle will be present on some trails. Water on trail will primarily be available in large, windmill driven stock tanks. Gates separating pastures will need to be open/closed due to the cattle - but are of a type that could be opened from horseback. Mounting blocks will be provided at gates.
