Trail Characteristics |
|
Trail Description | Trails will include single track cow paths, as well as portions of the groomed North Country National Scenic Trail. Footing is largely sandy soil and dirt, with occasional gravel sections. Relatively flat terrain with small, rolling hills. Cattle will be present on some trails. Water on trail will primarily be available in large, windmill driven stock tanks. Gates separating pastures will need to be open/closed due to the cattle - but are of a type that could be opened from horseback. Mounting blocks will be provided at gates. |
